Job summary

GAMUDA is seeking an Assistant Manager to work with the Sustainability Unit to promote sustainable practices across infrastructure and building projects through all development phases, ensuring regulatory compliance and alignment with industry standards. You will collaborate with project teams to strategize, implement and monitor sustainability initiatives.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering, sustainability, environmental science, or similar.
Experience with MS Office and data analysis tools.
Knowledge of sustainability metrics and reporting.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Sustainability Risk Assessment: Identify risks and opportunities across ESG and economics in infrastructure projects, including GHG emissions and social impacts.
Sustainability Risk Mitigation: Develop and manage sustainability actions for design, construction and operation to address identified impacts, including decarbonisation and biodiversity.
Sustainability Integration: Develop and maintain sustainability policies and procedures, working with project managers and engineers to integrate sustainability across all phases.
Technical Support & Communication: Collect, analyse and present data on sustainability metrics and project performance.
