Job summary

Agensi Pekerjaan Executive Recruiters in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia seeks a Sustainability Manager to lead the Group's ESG strategy, governance, data management, and regulatory reporting. You will drive climate initiatives, oversee GHG inventories, and ensure ISO-aligned practices across the organisation.

The role requires 5+ years in sustainability reporting, strong stakeholder engagement, and the ability to translate complex ESG data into actionable business guidance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or related field.
• Master’s degree or professional qualification is an added advantage.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in sustainability reporting, ESG governance, or ESG disclosure.
• Strong knowledge of sustainability reporting frameworks and ESG standards.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• In-depth understanding of sustainability practices, ESG principles, and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to translate findings into practical business recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and continuously enhance the Group's Sustainability Strategy, ESG governance framework, and ESG data management processes.
• Lead climate change and decarbonisation initiatives, including climate risk assessments and GHG inventory management.
• Oversee sustainability reporting and regulatory compliance, including reporting requirements and disclosures.
• Identify and monitor sustainability initiatives that support ESG objectives.
• Manage planning, execution, and administration of sustainability programmes, including budgets and team coordination.
• Promote sustainability awareness by delivering ESG training and engagement programmes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align ESG priorities and policies.
• Conduct sustainability audits and support quality management practices.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 37001, ISO 39001, and ISO 45001.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by Head of Division.
