Job summary

Ansell in Malaysia is seeking a Sustainability Engineer based in Ayer Keroh, Melaka. You will lead sustainable and low-energy design projects in factory settings, focusing on reuse, remanufacturing, recycling, and carbon emissions.

You will work with CAD and mapping tools, collect data, manage projects, and ensure regulatory compliance. The role requires REM and ISO 50001, and offers an inclusive, international environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Sustainable or Environmental engineering.
• Registered Energy Manager (REM) and ISO 50001 EnMS.
• Experience as a sustainability engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong technical engineering knowledge.
• Understanding of low-carbon building solutions.
• Good report writing and communication skills.

Ansell is looking for Sustainability Engineer to be based in Ayer Keroh, Melaka.

This position is Responsible to lead in delivering sustainable and low-energy design projects in the factory environment. The role demands an understanding of engineering in relation to reuse, remanufacturing, recycling and the effects of carbon emissions.

What Will Your Role Be?

• Identify feasible sustainable design concepts.

• Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, building codes, and health and safety standards.
• Preparing reports and compliance documentation.
• To be “on-call” work during major crisis/breakdown. Be reachable by phone at all times.

What Will You Bring?

• Bachelor's Degree in Sustainable or Environmental engineering or equivalent from reputable Universities.
• Registered Energy Manager (REM) and ISO 50001 Energy Management System (EnMS)
• Working experience as a sustainability engineer or in a similar role
• Strong technical engineering knowledge.
• Good understanding of low-carbon building solutions.
• Good product design skills and product assessment skills.
• Good report writing skills.
• Strong communication and project management capabilities.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Sound knowledge of mapping, thermal and energy modelling and life cycle assessment tools.
