Job summary

Randstad Malaysia is partnering with a leading professional services firm in Kuala Lumpur to recruit a specialist for the Quality Assurance and Technical (QAT) division. The role focuses on delivering and advancing sustainability assurance capabilities, serving as a SME on ISAE 3000 (Revised) and ISSA 5000, and shaping methodologies and training.

You will lead complex engagements, provide technical guidance on ESG disclosures, monitor reporting developments, and contribute to proposal growth

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Sustainability, Environmental Science, or related field; professional accounting qualification preferred.
• 3–4 years of audit/assurance experience with sustainability/GHG emissions assurance.
• Strong understanding of ISSB, GRI, SASB, and the GHG Protocol standards.
• Deep knowledge of ISAE 3000 (Revised) and ISSA 5000.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support sustainability assurance engagements in line with ISAE 3000 (Revised) and ISSA 5000.
• Provide technical advisory to engagement teams on sustainability reporting and ESG matters.
• Contribute to development of methodologies, templates, tools, and training resources.
• Monitor trends, frameworks, regulatory developments, and deliver sustainability assurance training.
• Support proposals and business development to grow the practice.
