Job summary

Cezars Kitchen Sdn Bhd in Mont Kiara, Selangor is seeking a Chef De Partie who can prepare a variety of sushi and Japanese dishes as a top priority. Mandarin-speaking candidates are preferred and experience in Chinese cuisine is highly valued.

You will work with head chefs on daily meals, plan menus, manage kitchen operations when head chef is absent, and contribute to a fast-paced team. This role offers bonus potential and benefits, with opportunities to work in Japan.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Chinese cuisine and Mandarin proficiency preferred.
• Experience cooking a wide range of foods in large batch quantities (international menus).
• Must be a qualified cook; certificates available upon request.

Responsibilities

• Work with the head chef to prepare daily meals.
• Plan menus with head chef and estimate costs and inventory needs.
• Manage kitchen operations in the absence of the Head Chef.
• Stand for long periods in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Learn new recipes and techniques; follow SOPs.
• Interact with customers in a positive, engaging manner.
