Job summary

BD in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an Interventional Account Manager (Surgery) to drive sales and grow market share for the interventional portfolio within a defined territory. You will develop and execute strategic account plans, build strong relationships with surgeons, nurses, hospital admins, and procurement teams, and advocate adoption of innovative surgical solutions.

Qualifications

Minimum 3–5 years of medical device sales experience, preferably in surgical or interventional specialties.
Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and growing market share.
Strong understanding of the surgical environment, OR procedures, and hospital purchasing processes.

Responsibilities

Achieve and exceed assigned sales quotas and market share objectives for the interventional surgery product line.
Develop and implement strategic account plans for key hospitals, surgical centers, and IDNs.
Build and maintain strong relationships with surgeons, nurses, hospital administrators, procurement teams.
Conduct product demonstrations, in-service training, and educational sessions for clinical staff.
Identify customer needs and provide solutions through BD’s products.
Collaborate with marketing, clinical specialists, and sales management to maximize opportunities.
Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform strategies.
Manage sales pipeline with forecasts and activity reports.
Participate in industry conferences and professional development.
Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
