Job summary

AT Honeycomb Engineering Pte Ltd – Nusajaya, Johor is seeking a Supply Chain Manager (Manufacturing) to oversee freight forwarder performance, import/export operations, and cost optimization. You will drive supplier capability surveys, plant audits, and quarterly reviews, while setting purchasing parameters in SAP and analyzing data for periodic improvements.

The role requires a degree with 5+ years’ related experience, strong IT literacy, and good knowledge of customs regulations.

Qualifications

• Possess a Degree with at least 5 years of working experience.
• Must be computer literate.
• Good knowledge in customs regulations.
• Able to communicate with all levels of the organization.
• Proficiency in Chinese is preferred as the role requires coordination with Mandarin-speaking counterparts in China.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the selection, qualification, and performance management of freight forwarders to achieve optimal service levels and cost effectiveness.
• Maintain a high level of service in raw material import and FG export, considering customs and Inspection Quarantine policy compliance, delivery lead time and cost.
• Monitor and optimize company processes with respect to customs policy compliance and minimize Logbook cost on duty and VAT.
• Take initiative for local and overseas supply base development, including vendor capability surveys, plant audits, vendor qualification, and quarterly performance reviews.
• Set up purchasing parameters for new parts in SAP system.
• Perform system purchasing data analysis and periodic reviews.
