Job summary

AT HONEYCOMB ENGINEERING (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD. is seeking a Supply Chain Manager (Manufacturing) in Iskandar Puteri.

You will oversee freight forwarders, raw material imports, and finished goods exports, ensuring service levels, time performance, and cost efficiency. The role requires a Degree and at least 5 years in a related field; you will use SAP for purchasing parameters and data analysis. Mandarin-speaking coordination with China teams is preferred for China coordination and vendor

Qualifications

• Must hold a Degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in computer literacy.
• Good knowledge of customs regulations.
• Able to communicate with all levels of the organization.
• Mandarin Chinese proficiency preferred for China coordination.

Responsibilities

• Oversee freight forwarders to ensure service levels and cost efficiency.
• Manage raw material import and finished goods export with compliance.
• Monitor and optimize purchasing processes and logistics performance.
• Develop local and overseas supply bases with vendor qualification and audits.
• Set up purchasing parameters in SAP and analyze purchasing data.

Suppy Chain Manager (Manufacturing/ Iskandar Puteri)

Oversee the selection, qualification, and performance management of freight forwarders to achieve optimal service levels and cost effectiveness

Maintain a high level service in raw material import in and FG export out, considering customs and Inspection Quarantine policy compliance, delivery lead time and cost.

To monitor and optimize the company process continuously considering customs policy compliance and minimize the Logbook cost on duty and VAT

Taking initiative for local and overseas supply base development, which including Vendor capability survey, plant audit, vendor qualification and quarterly performance review

To set up purchasing parameters for new parts in system (SAP)

System purchasing data analysis and periodic review.

Job Requirement:

Possess a Degree with at least 5 years of working experience as in related capacity.

Must be computer literate.

Good knowledge in customs regulations.

Able to communicate with all levels of the organization

Proficiency in chinese is preferred as the role requires frequent communication and coordination with Mandarin-speaking counterparts in China
