Job summary

6239 Magnum ICC MY Sdn.Bhd. is seeking a dedicated Supply Planner to ensure stock availability and balance service levels with cost in a fast‑moving FMCG environment.

You will collaborate with sourcing units, suppliers, procurement and logistics to optimize inventory and ensure reliable customer fulfillment. Key duties include reviewing supply plans, managing capacity constraints, placing POs, and monitoring days‑on‑hand while driving continuous improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience in FMCG supply planning and inventory optimization.
• Experience coordinating with sourcing, procurement and logistics.
• Proven ability to review and adjust plans based on demand forecasts.

Responsibilities

• Operational supply planning and liaison with sourcing units.
• Consolidate supply plans and share with customer service teams.
• Attend capacity planning meetings and identify shortfalls with mitigations.
• Prepare loss-tree analysis for non-supplied orders.
• Review KPIs with sourcing units after each planning cycle.
• Ensure product availability to meet demand and maintain service levels.

The role

You will be responsible in ensuring stock availability to support business and customer demand. You will be collaborating with sourcing units, suppliers, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure smooth supply operations. You will monitor and optimize inventory levels to balance service, cost, and working capital.

• Operational Supply Planning
• Liaise regularly with sourcing units to review supply plans against customer forecasts and orders.
• Consolidate supply plans from all sourcing units and share the same with the customer service teams.
• Attend regular Regional Category Demand and Supply Reconciliation or Rough‑Cut Capacity Planning meetings and identify short‑term capacity constraints, highlighting these to the business and providing contingency plans.
• Prepare the loss‑tree analysis for all the non‑supplied orders.
• Review KPIs with the sourcing units at the end of each planning cycle.
• Ensure products are available to meet customer demand and maintain service levels.
• Supply Gap review & provide mitigation options.
• Responsible for Purchase order placement to sourcing units and suppliers in different regions.
• Inventory Planning – Define the planning strategies at a “customer‑sourcing unit‑SKU” level based on forecast and replenishment strategy (make‑to‑order vs. make‑to‑forecast).
• Define stock‑holding principles for the make‑to‑forecast Stock Keeping Units (SKUs).
• Monitor days‑on‑hand against target and identify improvement opportunities.
• Manage slow‑moving and obsolete stocks (SLOB) by highlighting slow and non‑moving stocks to the business to generate appropriate actions.
• SKU Phase‑in‑Phase‑out management.
• Capacity Interlocking to Support Business Growth – Interlock of up to 24‑month capacity (medium‑term) with the sourcing units and cluster product group Supply Chain based on forecast agreed in the Sales & Operations Planning meeting.
• Interlock 2‑5 years capacity (long‑term) with the Supply Chain team.
• Performance Management – Drive accountability and process improvement, Prevent overstock that increases storage cost, expiry risk, obsolescence, or working capital.

We’re looking for someone who Has experience in Supply planning and can operate confidently within the FMCG industry, Brings strong skills in supply chain systems such as SAP and Kinaxis, Brings experience in supply planning, innovation or new product development management, inventory optimization and process improvement experience, Thinks end‑to‑end and takes ownerships for results, Is comfortable working in a fast‑moving, evolving organization, Values collaboration, clarity and low‑ego ways of working.
