Job summary

Magnum Ice Cream Company in Malaysia seeks a seasoned SSHE Leader to design and oversee logistics safety and security programs across delivery, warehousing, and production interfaces. You will lead governance, audits, and risk controls in a fast-moving consumer goods environment.

The role drives safety culture, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement, with a strong focus on reducing incidents and losses while enabling scalable operations.

Qualifications

• Has experience in logistics operations, including transport and/or warehousing and/or facilities management and can operate confidently in the fast moving consumer good industry.
• Has hands-on experience in implementing SSHE standards in operational environments
• Has demonstrated experience working in the field (site visits, verification, audits) to drive compliance and risk control
• Brings strong skills in transportation and road safety, warehousing safety, fire safety, emergency management, security management
• Thinks end-to-end and takes ownerships for results
• Is comfortable working in a fast-moving, evolving organisation
• Values collaboration, clarity and low-ego ways of working

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and continuously enhance Ice Cream Logistics and Workplace Safety & Security Programs to eliminate fatalities, significantly reduce incidents, and eradicate security losses.
• Identify and mitigate high-risk activities across logistics, contractors, construction, MMHE, and PSM interfaces, ensuring robust, risk-based controls are implemented.
• Establish and lead GTM SSHE governance (CSHEC and sub-committees) to ensure full compliance with global standards, local regulations, and audit requirements.
• Drive SSHE integration into daily GTM operations (delivery, warehousing, distribution, sales), ensuring controls are effectively executed—not just documented.
• Lead safe travel and fleet safety programs, improving driver behavior, vehicle compliance, and road risk management to reduce driving‑related incidents.
• Strengthen security and loss prevention through route risk assessments, access control, and proactive incident prevention, delivering measurable reduction in losses.
• Track and drive performance on critical KPIs (TRFR, LTAFR, SIF, ENV, PSM), ensuring clear ownership, timely CAPA closure, and effective escalation of risks.
• Build a proactive safety culture by embedding training, engagement, speak‑up behaviors, and leadership accountability into daily operations and OKRs.
• Partner cross‑functionally with Supply Chain, Logistics, Sales, R&D, and Factory SSHE teams to align execution and ensure clarity of governance.
• Lead risk reviews and performance reporting, translating insights into actionable plans to close gaps and continuously improve SSHE outcomes.
