Job summary

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years in Demand Planning, Supply Planning, or Supply Chain Analytics
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and visualization software (PowerBI) is a plus
  • Experience with ERP/planning software (SAP, O9, Anaplan) is advantageous

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Demand Planning Analyst to join our dynamic Supply Chain team. This role is pivotal in enhancing forecast accuracy, optimizing inventory, and improving customer service through robust reporting, data analysis, and strategic insights. The Demand Planning Analyst will be instrumental in digitalizing our demand planning processes, creating insightful dashboards, and strategically supporting governance for waste reduction and timely replenishment. This position offers a unique opportunity to shape our data landscape and contribute significantly to our strategic objectives, including laying the groundwork for advanced AI/ML forecasting initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Demand Forecasting Excellence & Process Improvement: Develop and maintain dashboards to assess forecast reasonability, enabling Demand Planners to analyze trends, identify deviations, and reduce forecast bias. Proactively identify and flag product/SKU risks related to stock availability Demand Planners, serving as a key liaison with Supply Chain and commercial teams. Support in conducting forecast error and service losses, deriving actionable insights for continuous improvement. Ensure forecast integrity within planning systems by tracking rollover processes and verifying compliance of Demand Planners with established procedures. Design and implement a standard central planning file for the Demand Planning team to facilitate seamless data management and transitions. Consolidate and highlight variances between Sales Operations and Planning (S&OP) forecasts, commercial bottoms-up plans, driving alignment and understanding.
  2. Digitalization, Reporting & Master Data Governance: Lead the enhancement and harmonization of Demand Planning reports focusing on creating actionable PowerBI dashboards for the Supply Chain team (e.g., Demand & Supply, Forecast Changes, Forecast error drivers). Drive automation initiatives to significantly reduce time spent on monthly reporting cycles. Sustain high levels of master data accuracy in SAP and historical data systems through regular audits of product hierarchies and master data. Provide essential support to Demand Planning and Commercial teams for data inputs into relevant planning and commercial systems. Assess, develop, and work towards the harmonization of key reports across markets (e.g., Demand Review File, Demand & Supply, New Product Development Tracking). Strategic Growth: Support the development of a unified data repository for all demand planning data, laying groundwork for advanced forecasting models and analytics.
  3. Inventory & Waste Reduction Governance: Facilitate robust governance frameworks for waste management. Proactively communicate and ensure follow-through on necessary support and actions across cross-functional teams to minimize write-off risks, liaising with Demand Planners on trend run rates that pose Slow-Moving and Obsolete inventory. Monitor excess stock levels and collaborate closely with Category Demand Planners on excess stocks resolution. Assess and analyze inventory write-offs to identify root causes and implement preventive measures.
  4. Cross-functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with the Sales Team to achieve data source harmonization across various reporting tools. Provide critical support for market availability initiatives for strategic accounts. Ensure clear visibility to stakeholders on New Product Development (NPD) launches, including pipeline and allocation tracking, to accelerate sell-in plans.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Statistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Supply Chain Analytics, or a similar role, preferably within a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) environment.
  • (Good to have) Proficiency in data analysis tools and visualization software (e.g., PowerBI) is an advantage
  • Understanding of ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and/or planning software (e.g., O9, Anaplan) is an advantage.
  • Experience with master data management and governance principles.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
