Job summary

The Magnum Ice Cream Company is seeking a skilled Supply Planner to ensure stock availability and balance service, cost, and working capital. You will collaborate with sourcing units, suppliers, and logistics teams to optimize inventory and meet demand across regions.

Ideal candidates bring FMCG experience, strong SAP/Kinaxis skills, and a track record in inventory optimization and process improvements within a fast-moving organization.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with sourcing units to review supply plans against forecasts and orders.
• Consolidate supply plans and share with customer service teams.
• Prepare loss-tree analysis for non-supplied orders.
• Ensure products are available to meet customer demand and maintain service levels.
• Place purchase orders with sourcing units and suppliers across regions.
• Monitor days-on-hand against targets and identify improvements.
• Manage slow-moving and obsolete stocks and propose actions.
• Oversee SKU phase-in/phase-out management.
• Prevent overstock that increases storage costs and working capital.

The role

In this role, you will be expected in ensuring stock availability to support business and customer demand. You will be collaborating with sourcing units, suppliers, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure smooth supply operations. You are responsible in monitoring and optimizing inventory levels to balance service, cost, and working capital

What you'll be responsible for

• Liaise regularly with sourcing units to review supply plans against customer forecasts and orders.
• Consolidate supply plans from all sourcing units and sharing the same with the customer service teams.
• Prepare the loss-tree analysis for all the non-supplied orders.
• Ensure products are available to meet customer demand and maintain service levels
• Responsible for Purchase order placement to sourcing units and suppliers in different region
• Monitor days-on-hand against target and identifying improvement opportunities.
• Manage slow-moving and obsolete stocks (SLOB) by highlighting slow and non-moving stocks to the business to generate appropriate actions.
• SKU Phase-in-Phase-out management
• Prevent overstock that increases storage cost, expiry risk, obsolescence, or working capital.

We're looking for someone who

• Has experience in Supply planning and can operate confidently within the FMCG industry
• Brings strong skills in supply chain systems such as SAP and Kinaxis
• Brings experience in supply planning, innovation or new product development management, inventory optimization and process improvement experience
• Thinks end-to-end and takes ownerships for results
• Is comfortable working in a fast-moving, evolving organisation
