Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Supply Chain Coordinator to join our Procurement team. The role focuses on managing inventory, sourcing materials, and purchasing to support manufacturing and demand planning. A reliable multitasker with strong negotiation and communication skills is essential.

You will use ERP/MES systems to maintain costs, raise PR/POs, monitor stock levels, and coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure on-time delivery. Local relocation to Perai is expected if needed.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years experience in Buyer/Sourcing and Supply Chain
• Experience in ERP/MES system
• Strong negotiation and communication with all liaison
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Maths and MS skills
• Able to cope with pressure and adapt to situations

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory, sources and purchase materials to support manufacturing and anticipated demand.
• Maintain part costs and vendor quotes information in ERP/MES for traceability and maintenance.
• Negotiate pricing with suppliers to reduce cost of production or improve quality of parts.
• Raise PR/PO for Sheet Metal/Grinding, Fabricating, Machine setup, shears, brakes, bending, punch and drill presses to cut, bend and straighten sheet metal.
• Monitor inventory levels for all on-hand material, parts and WIP.
• Procure raw materials, MROs, etc supporting production needs.
• Monthly cycle count and month-end closing in the system.
• Set up new part numbers, current product prices, costing etc into ERP/MES.
• Place and track orders for all customers, suppliers etc.
• Arrange transport of goods to customers to meet delivery schedules.
• Prepare metal materials for required processes per customer’s requirements
• Schedule and coordinate with assigned engineering projects with close monitoring.
• Collaborate with supporting team and manage resources effectively.
