Job summary

Lumileds International is seeking a Senior Manager Supply Chain Planning to own end-to-end planning, including material planning, inventory management, and factory planning. You will balance demand with capacity, optimize working capital, and drive continuous improvement across the supply chain.

This role requires strong analytical skills and cross-functional collaboration to develop planning best practices, meet budget targets, and enhance customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, or industrial engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in manufacturing or supply chain planning.
• 3–5 years in a managerial role leading cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead weekly customer alignment meetings to reconcile forecasts with manufacturing capabilities and supplier capacity.
• Develop and execute short- and long-term supply plans to ensure FG flow and inventory targets.
• Collaborate with operations and engineering to optimize throughput and production schedules.
• Generate demand vs supply scenarios for new products, obsolescence and process improvements.
• Oversee MRP parameters, lead times, safety stocks, and reorder points in the ERP system.
• Ensure materials are available to prevent line stoppages and avoid excess holdings.
• Communicate forecasts with Procurement and manage supplier performance.
• Provide feedback on inventory risks and drive continuous reduction initiatives.
• Set and monitor inventory targets for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
• Apply financial analysis to opportunities and minimize write-offs.
• Prepare executive summaries for monthly closings and AOP inventory projections.
• Lead, mentor, and coach a team of planners and analysts.
• Drive adoption of advanced planning tools and data analytics dashboards.

Position Summary:

The Senior Manager Supply Chain Planning is responsible for leading end-to-end planning operations. In this role, you will take full ownership of material planning, inventory management, supply planning and factory planning. You will need to balance customer demand with operational capacity, optimize working capital, minimize stockouts and drive continuous improvement across manufacturing and supply chain ecosystems.

This role requires strong analytical skills, cross-functional collaboration, and expertise in supply chain management tools to support seamless end-to-end supply chain performance.

A key focus will be on the development and ongoing improvement of planning (best) practices and strategies to meet corporate inventory and business objectives and customer satisfaction goals.

Effective execution of this position will support the realization of Lumileds goals to drive revenue growth and profitability by keeping expenses within budget, keeping inventory at appropriate levels as well as continuing to look for optimization and savings opportunities.

What You Will Do:

• Lead weekly customer alignment meetings to reconcile customer forecasts with manufacturing capabilities and supplier capacity, proactively identifying and mitigate supply chain risks while addressing downward demand fluctuations.
• Develop and execute short- and long-term supply plans to ensure a seamless flow of FG while hitting customer fulfillment and inventory targets.
• Partner closely with operations and engineering to optimize throughput, reduce changeover times, and ensure strict adherence to production schedules.
• Generate demand vs supply scenarios for customer upsides, process and technology conversions, new product launches and product obsolescence planning.
• Oversee Material Requirements Planning (MRP) parameters, lead times, safety stocks, and reorder points within the ERP system.
• Ensure raw materials and components are available precisely when needed to prevent production line stoppages while avoiding excess holdings.
• Work together with Procurement to communicate forecasts, manage supplier performance, and resolve material shortages swiftly.
• Continue providing feedback and raising challenges whenever inventory risks or exposures are identified.
• Set and monitor inventory targets across raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods to maximize cash flow and reduce carrying costs.
• Apply financial analysis to evaluate business opportunities and collaborate cross-functionally on PIPO materials to minimize financial exposure and write-offs.
• Prepare executive summaries for monthly closings and AOP inventory projections, driving continuous inventory reduction initiatives.
• Detail oriented and able to multi-task in a high energy and fast paced environment with critical and tight schedules
• Proactive supply-demand matching to ensure delivery, order- and inventory KPI target fulfilment
• Lead, mentor, and coach a team of planners and analysts, fostering a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous learning.
• Continuously strengthen the planning value stream by suggesting and implementing enhancements to processes, procedures, and planning tools.
• Drive the adoption of advanced planning tools, automation scripts, and data analytics dashboards to improve forecasting accuracy and planning speed.
• Comply with environment, security, health and safety requirements

What You Will Bring (RequiredQualifications):

• Minimum 8 to 12+ years working experience in a manufacturing environment, Supply Chain Planning, material planning, factory planning, subcontractor planning or procurement
• At least 3–5 years in a managerial or leadership role managing cross-functional planning teams.
