Job summary

Jora Malaysia is hiring a Supply Chain Executive (Oversea Ordering) to manage ordering/receiving with suppliers and convert BPOs into POs. The role requires coordination with warehouse and finance teams and frequent Chinese communication.

The successful candidate will monitor stock levels, generate BPOs, and ensure documentation compliance while traveling to HQ in Johor when needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or related field.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Prior experience in ordering and shipping processes with suppliers is an added advantage.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and coordinate resources.
• Detail-oriented and well-organized.
• Familiar with PO processes and documentation.
• Willingness to travel to HQ in Jementah, Johor for meetings, trainings and operational support when required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor inventory levels to prevent stock-outs and overstock.
• Generate Blanket Purchase Orders (BPOs) to replenish warehouse stock based on forecast demand and stock thresholds.
• Coordinate with suppliers on BPO confirmations, shipment updates, and delivery schedules to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
• Ensure all BPOs are accurate, properly documented, and comply with company procurement policies.
• Check and verify Import Document (Proforma Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading), prepare payment request.
• Manage and monitor the conversion of Blanket Purchase Orders (BPOs) into Purchase Orders (POs).
• Liaise with warehouse and finance teams to ensure smooth receiving and invoicing processes.
• Communicate effectively in Chinese, as the role requires frequent coordination with Chinese-speaking suppliers and business partners.
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the superior from time to time.
