Job summary

Private Advertiser in Malaysia seeks an experienced Supply Chain Director to lead end-to-end supply chain operations for a growing consumer goods business. You will drive planning, procurement, logistics, warehousing, inventory management and fulfilment while supporting growth and efficiency.

You will establish S&OP processes, optimize inventory, drive cost initiatives, manage 3PLs, and build a high-performing team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 10–15 years of progressive experience in supply chain leadership.
• Experience leading complex operations in FMCG, consumer products, manufacturing, retail, or related industries.
• Strong knowledge of demand planning, inventory management, S&OP, procurement, logistics and warehousing.
• Proven ability to drive transformational initiatives and operational excellence.
• Excellent analytical, commercial and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and external service providers.

This leadership role is responsible for driving supply chain excellence across planning, procurement, logistics, warehousing, inventory management, and fulfilment while supporting business growth and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and execute the overall supply chain strategy to support business objectives and growth plans.

Oversee demand planning, procurement, logistics, warehousing, inventory management, and fulfilment operations.

Establish and drive Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes to align demand, supply, and commercial priorities.

Ensure optimal inventory levels while balancing customer service, stock availability, and working capital efficiency.

Drive cost optimization initiatives across freight, warehousing, logistics, and inventory holding.

Manage supplier and third-party logistics (3PL) performance to ensure service excellence, quality, and compliance.

Develop risk mitigation and business continuity strategies to address supply and logistics disruptions.

Lead process improvement, digital transformation, reporting enhancement, and supply chain capability development initiatives.

Support product launches, market expansion initiatives, and commercial growth plans.

Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing supply chain team while providing strategic recommendations to senior management.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum 10-15 years of progressive experience in supply chain, logistics, operations, or procurement leadership roles.

Proven experience leading complex supply chain operations within FMCG, consumer products, manufacturing, retail, or related industries.

Strong knowledge of demand planning, inventory management, S&OP, procurement, logistics, and warehousing.

Demonstrated ability to lead transformational initiatives and drive operational excellence.

Strong analytical, commercial, and stakeholder management skills.

Experience managing cross-functional teams and external service providers.
