Job summary

Hartalega NGC Sdn Bhd is seeking a Supervisor for Quality Control and Packing to oversee the Online Packing section and ensure adherence to work instructions. The role requires supervising packing workers, coordinating with Group Leaders and Inspectors, and ensuring proper packaging processes are followed in a glove manufacturing environment.

• Minimum SPM or equivalent working experience.
• Preferable with working experience in glove manufacturing plant for at least 3-4 years.
• Must be able to read, write and speak BM and BI.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and control the activities at the Online Packing section.
• Ensure packing workers perform according to the written work instruction.
• Place packaging materials from the store based on the packing plan.
• Verify and monitor the work done by Group Leaders and Inspectors.
• Handle and follow up on problems forwarded by Group Leaders.
• Review all checklists and reports by Group Leader and subordinates in a timely manner.
• Assist Executive/Engineer/Senior Executive in organizing and planning the work in online and final packing areas.
• Provide on-the-job training to Packers, Inspectors, Group Leaders and other operators.
• Ensure packing procedures and packing methods are implemented and practiced.
• Keep storage, packaging, online and final packing areas clean and tidy at all times.
• Ensure products are stored, labelled and segregated at designated areas.
• Ensure workers handle products without damage or contamination.
• Inform Executive/Engineer/Manager for equipment repair, service or calibration.
• Conduct appraisal for workers during probationary period.
• Perform any other tasks as assigned.

• To supervise and control the activities at the Online Packing section.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure all packing workers are performed their jobs according to the written work instruction.
• To place packaging materials from the store by based on the packing plan.
• Verify and monitor the work done by Group Leaders and Inspectors.
• To handle and follow up on the problems forwarded by Group Leaders.
• Checked and reviewed all checklist and reports by Group Leader and below by timely basis.
• Assist Executive/Engineer/Senior Executive/Engineer in organizing and planning the work in online and final packing area.
• To provide on the job training to the Packers, Inspectors, Group Leaders other support operators.
• To ensure packing procedure and packing method are implemented and practiced.
• Ensure storage, packaging, online and final packing area are clean and tidy at all times.
• Ensure the product is stored, labelled and segregated at designated area.
• Ensure worker is handle products in correct manner and not causing any damage or contamination onto the products.
• Inform to Executive/Engineer or Manager for any equipment need to be repair, service or calibrate.
• To conduct appraisal for the worker during probationer period.
• Any other task that may be assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

Education:

• Minimum SPM or equivalent working experience.

Work Experience:

• Preferable with working experience in glove manufacturing plant for at least 3-4 years

Technical and Professional Knowledge:

• Supervisory skills
• Good in human relation skill
• Knowledge in planning.
• Able to read, write and speak in BM and BI.
• Able to do planning and time study.
