Job summary

WG Wealth Growth Sdn Bhd is seeking a Supervisor Production to oversee daily manufacturing operations, ensure products meet quality standards, and manage a team of workers in a melamine board and laminate plant. You will monitor machinery, enforce safety protocols, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

The role requires hands-on leadership, attention to waste reduction, and documentation of production performance.

Job description

Supervisor Production role overseeing daily production activities, worker performance, machinery operation, and quality control in a melamine board and laminate manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

Arrange daily activities, assign tasks, and create schedules to meet production targets and deadlines

Observe and supervise production workers to ensure tasks are performed correctly and safely

Train new workers and support skill development of existing staff

Provide worker performance feedback

Supervise the operation of hot press machines, laminating equipment and other production machinery

Ensure all melamine boards/panels meet quality standards

Identify minor machine or process issues and elevate major problems

Ensure correct temperature, pressure and cycle times are followed on hot press machines

Monitor quality of pressed boards and resolve minor machine issues

Coordinate with Production Manager for material replenishment when required

About you

Ability to monitor material levels and ensure efficient use of resources to minimize waste

Capability to prepare daily production reports, output records and quality inspection logs

Ability to keep proper documentation for production workflow and machine maintenance

Capability to conduct regular checks on finished products to ensure consistency and adherence to specifications

Knowledge of monitoring production processes and inspecting outputs to ensure products meet company specifications and industry standards, such as ISO 9001

Ability to report safety hazards or incidents to Production Manager immediately
