Job summary

Koon Seng Sdn Bhd is a leading manufacturer of Latex and Nitrile Examination Gloves in Malaysia. The role supervises operators, ensures product quality and safety, and coordinates with engineering to meet production targets. Training, quality standards, and ISO/GMP compliance are central to daily tasks.

Located in the Southern Region of Malaysia, the candidate should have a Chemical or Mechanical Engineering certification and experience in glove manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Certification or Diploma in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Preferable 3+ years in a glove manufacturing plant.
• Knowledge of NR latex gloves manufacturing process is advantageous.
• Located in the Southern Region of Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Supervise machine operators to perform daily production tasks according to work instructions, quality standards and SOPs.
• Monitor in-process control, production output, product quality and material/equipment usage.
• Organize and allocate operators for daily production tasks/planning.
• Provide on-the-job training; assess, evaluate and keep training records.
• Ensure compliance with safety practices and ISO 9001/13485/GMP requirements.
• Review operator reports each shift and update supervisors.
• Coordinate with Engineering and related departments on equipment and line requirements.
• Investigate and resolve production or quality issues related to gloves and report findings.
• Conduct equipment and material inspections per checklist requirements.
• Report daily production performance and issues to Engineer/Executive/Manager.

Job description

Supervise operators in carrying out daily production tasks according to work instructions, quality standards, and SOPs.

Monitor and ensure in-process control, production output, product quality, and use of material/equipment is within specification or production target.

Organize and allocate machine operators adequate with daily production tasks/planning.

Provide on-the-job training for newly recruited workers, refresher training, assessment, evaluation, and record the training records.

Enforce company rules, regulations, safety practices, and follow ISO9001/13485/GMP requirements.

Review and verify reports submitted by operator in every shift and update to superior.

Coordinate with Engineering and related departments on equipment, facilities, utilities and line requirements.

Investigate and resolve production or quality issues related to gloves and update to superior.

Conduct equipment and materials inspection according to checklist requirements.

Report daily production performance, issues, and overall updates to the Engineer / Executive or Manager.

About you

Certification / Diploma in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering

Preferable with working experience in a glove manufacturing plant for at least 3 years

Knowledgeable in Compounding or NR latex gloves manufacturing process
