Job summary

GAMUDA is seeking a Site Supervisor for M&E construction works in Malaysia. You will supervise on-site activities, coordinate with consultants and subcontractors, and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and project schedules.

The role requires a Diploma/Certificate in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with relevant construction experience and the ability to work extended hours to meet deadlines on site.

Qualifications

• Diploma / Certificate in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering or equivalent with relevant experience in the construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Supervise work in progress and manage site logistics.
• Ensure work is carried out in compliance with legal, statutory and client requirements and the work programme.
• Compile daily site progress, manpower records, equipment usage and weather charts as required by the Project Manager.

Job Summary

To check, monitor, supervise, inspect & coordinate on all M&E works including liaison with consultants, C&S and architecture with regards to the issues/problems related to M&E design and works.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise work in progress and manage site logistics.
• Conduct site supervision and ensure that work is carried out in compliance with all legal
• statutory requirements, client requirements and work programme.
• To compile daily site progress, manpower records, heavy machineries, weather chart,
• materials at site and all other related records as required by Project Manager, M&E
• Manager or Client.
• To endorse/confirm delivery of materials at site and ensure safe method and approved route.
• To obtain Permit To Work (PTW) if required for any works.
• Preparation of stock control for materials at site.
• Supervision of sub-contractors/site workers/site personnel.
• Ensure work progress on work programme/schedule.
• To assist in compiling of site activities on the daily progress.
• Responsible for company properties at site.
• Taking pictures of work in progress at site and compile for reporting purpose.
• Confirm delivery order for arrival of materials at site. Ensure that quantity in Delivery Order
• (DO) & Purchase Order (PO) matches.
• To comply and adhere to all matters pertaining to Quality, Safety & Health and Environment
• related to the job scope and work place as required by the Company.
• Any other duties that will be assigned from time to time by the Management.

Qualifications

• Diploma / Certificate in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering or equivalent with relevant
  experience in the construction industry

Skills & Abilities

• Experience in M&E construction works, including process systems, instrumentation and SCADA integration.
• Ability to work extended hours when necessary to meet project deadlines
• Good negotiation or influential skills.
• Ability to deal with construction staff at site

Expected Minimum Years of Experience

3 Years and above in relevant working experience
