Job summary

Sunway Pyramid Shopping Mall in Selangor is seeking a Car Park Attendant. You will inspect car park machinery, direct traffic during peak times, and assist customers. You will monitor CCTV, patrol the area, and provide basic first aid if qualified, while following Sunway safety and data protection policies.

The role requires SPM or equivalent, strong English and Bahasa Melayu, and the ability to work in shifts as part of a team. Prior car park experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• SPM or equivalent qualification required.
• Strong writing and communication in English and Bahasa Melayu.
• Competence in vernacular languages such as Chinese and Tamil would be an added advantage.
• Capacity to work in shifts.
• Demonstrates ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Inspects car park service machinery and devices, and reports any malfunction for repair.

MAINACCOUNTABILITIES

• ·Inspects car park service machinery and devices,and reports any malfunction for repair.
• ·Assists in directing the flow of traffic duringpeak periods.
• ·Provides information and assistance to customerswho have queries or are experiencing any difficulty.
• ·Monitors the security of the car park via CCTVand by carrying out patrol duties.
• ·Administers first aid to customers, if qualifiedand when necessary.
• ·Adheres to the company's safety protocols andguidelines at all times, and understands and strictly complies with theOccupational Safety & Health policy outlined in the Sunway Staff Handbook.
• ·Understands and applies all policies implementedby Sunway in relation to any personal data received, used, transmitted,processed, or stored.
• ·Ensures that personal data is not disclosed toany unauthorized third party without obtaining clearance from the Information Manager or the PDP Officer.
• ·Complies with all Sunway policies in relation tothe Act and assists the Information Manager in any personal data protectionmatters.
• ·Ensures that consent is obtained from datasubjects whenever personal data is collected, and that the personal dataprotection notice is always served to the data subjects upon collection oftheir personal data.
• ·Reports any enquiries/complaints in relation topersonal data and data security breach incidents to the Information Managerimmediately.
• ·Ensures that all personal data is protected fromany physical damage and from any unauthorized access, alteration, removal, ordestruction according to the Personal Data Protection Security Policy.
• ·Reports any actual or suspected data securitybreach and violations to the Information Manager as soon as possible.
• ·Provides full cooperation to the PDP Officerupon an internal audit or investigation.

AUTHORITIES

• ·Escalates LPR site issues to the Superior forFOC Parking decisions.
• ·Authorized to perform clearance at the AutoPay Station.

Requirements

REQUIREMENTS:

• ·MinimumSPM qualification or equivalent.
• ·Competentin writing and communicating in English and Bahasa Melayu. Competence invernacular languages such as Chinese and Tamil would be an added advantage.
• ·Priorexperience in car park operations would be an added advantage.
• ·Capacityto work in shifts.
• ·Demonstratesability to work in a team.
