Job summary

Sonicboom Solutions Sdn Bhd is seeking a capable Car Park Operations Assistant to support daily site activities and ensure minimal downtime at assigned Kuala Lumpur locations.

You will conduct routine inspections, monitor gates and payment devices, and report issues to the Car Park Operations Supervisor. The role requires teamwork, English and Bahasa Melayu writing skills, and willingness to work shifts including weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM qualification or equivalent.
• Competent in writing and communicating in English and Bahasa Melayu.
• Prior experience in car park operations is an added advantage.
• Capacity to work in shifts including weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day operation of assigned car park sites to minimize downtime.
• Conduct routine checks of car park assets, equipment and facilities.
• Monitor the operational condition of car park systems, gates, and payment devices.
• Report system errors, equipment breakdowns and safety concerns to the supervisor.
• Assist in ensuring vehicles can enter and exit safely and orderly.
• Maintain the car park site in a clean, safe, and operational condition.
• Follow established procedures and instructions from supervisors.
• Perform other duties assigned by Management.

Job description

Support the day-to-day operation of assigned car park sites and ensure the site remains operational with minimal downtime.

Conduct routine checks and inspections of car park assets, equipment, facilities, and operational systems.

Monitor the operational condition of car park systems, boom gates, payment equipment, and other related facilities.

Report system errors, equipment breakdowns, payment issues, safety concerns, and other operational problems to the Car Park Operations Supervisor.

Assist in ensuring vehicles can enter and exit the car park safely and without major operational issues.

Assist in maintaining the car park site in a clean, safe, orderly, and operational condition.

Ensure vehicles are parked in a safe and non-hazardous manner where applicable.

Follow established operational procedures, safety requirements, work instructions, and instructions from supervisors.

Assist with basic operational checks, customer assistance, and other site-related activities as required.

Perform any other duties assigned by Management.

REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum SPM qualification or equivalent.

Competent in writing and communicating in English and Bahasa Melayu.

Prior experience in car park operations would be an added advantage.

Capacity to work in shifts and able to work during weekend & Public Holidays, 6 working days.

Demonstrates ability to work in a team.

Prefer with IT skillset.
