Job summary

Sunway is seeking a Car Park Attendant to ensure car park machines function smoothly and assist customers with inquiries. You will inspect equipment, direct traffic during peak periods, and provide information to visitors.

You will monitor security via CCTV, provide first aid where qualified, and uphold Sunway safety and data protection policies, including handling personal data in compliance with PDP guidelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM qualification or equivalent.
• Competent in writing and communicating in English and Bahasa Melayu; knowledge of vernacular languages (Chinese, Tamil) is an added advantage.
• Prior experience in car park operations would be an added advantage.

JOB SUMMARY

Ensures that the car park service machines are functioning smoothly and attendsto customer enquiries.

MAINACCOUNTABILITIES

• Inspects car park service machinery and devices,and reports any malfunction for repair.
• Assists in directing the flow of traffic duringpeak periods.
• Provides information and assistance to customerswho have queries or are experiencing any difficulty.
• Monitors the security of the car park via CCTVand by carrying out patrol duties.
• Administers first aid to customers, if qualifiedand when necessary.
• Adheres to the company's safety protocols andguidelines at all times, and understands and strictly complies with theOccupational Safety & Health policy outlined in the Sunway Staff Handbook.
• Understands and applies all policies implementedby Sunway in relation to any personal data received, used, transmitted,processed, or stored.
• Ensures that personal data is not disclosed toany unauthorized third party without obtaining clearance from the InformationManager or the PDP Officer.
• Complies with all Sunway policies in relation tothe Act and assists the Information Manager in any personal data protectionmatters.
• Ensures that consent is obtained from datasubjects whenever personal data is collected, and that the personal dataprotection notice is always served to the data subjects upon collection oftheir personal data.
• Reports any enquiries/complaints in relation topersonal data and data security breach incidents to the Information Managerimmediately.
• Ensures that all personal data is protected fromany physical damage and from any unauthorized access, alteration, removal, ordestruction according to the Personal Data Protection Security Policy.
• Reports any actual or suspected data securitybreach and violations to the Information Manager as soon as possible.
• Provides full cooperation to the PDP Officerupon an internal audit or investigation.

AUTHORITIES

• Escalates LPR site issues to the Superior forFOC Parking decisions.
• Authorized to perform clearance at the AutoPay Station.

Requirements

• MinimumSPM qualification or equivalent.
• Competentin writing and communicating in English and Bahasa Melayu. Competence invernacular languages such as Chinese and Tamil would be an added advantage.
• Priorexperience in car park operations would be an added advantage.
