Job summary

HABIB Group seeks a hands-on Supervisor to oversee daily branch operations, drive team performance, and ensure outstanding customer experiences. You will act as PIC in the absence of the Branch Manager, govern cash handling, SOP compliance, and reporting while coaching staff for high performance.

Diploma or equivalent with 3–5 years in retail/financial services or branch ops is required. Fluency in Bahasa Malaysia and English is essential, with the ability to work retail hours including weekends

• Strong knowledge of cash handling, stock control and branch procedures.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving and numerical abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and computer-based reporting systems.
• High integrity, accountability and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure while ensuring compliance and asset security.
• Willing to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily branch operations focusing on customer service, cashiering and admin processes.
• Act as PIC when Branch Manager is absent to ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure SOPs and regulatory requirements are met with proper documentation and audit readiness.
• Manage cash operations including float prep, daily reconciliation, and secure handling of pledged items with regular stock checks.
• Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing security procedures and identifying risks.
• Lead, coach and motivate staff to achieve high performance and a positive culture.
• Monitor sales performance and KPIs; provide operational and performance reports to Management.
• Assist in auction activities, campaigns and other business initiatives as required.

Are you a hands-on leader with a passion for operations, customer service, and team development? We're looking for a dedicated Supervisor to oversee daily branch operations, drive team performance, and ensure operational excellence while delivering an outstanding customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the daily operations of the branch, ensuring efficient customer service, cashiering, and administrative processes.

Act as the Person-in-Charge (PIC) in the absence of the Branch Manager and ensure smooth branch operations.

Ensure compliance with company policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and regulatory requirements while maintaining accurate documentation and audit readiness.

Manage cash operations, including float preparation, daily reconciliation, and secure handling of pledged items through regular stock verification.

Maintain a safe and secure working environment by enforcing security procedures and proactively identifying operational risks.

Lead, coach, and motivate branch staff to achieve high performance while fostering a positive and collaborative workplace culture.

Monitor branch sales performance, support the achievement of KPIs, and provide timely operational and performance reports to Management.

Assist in auction activities, company campaigns, and other business initiatives as required.

Carry out any other responsibilities assigned by Management from time to time.

Requirements

Diploma or equivalent qualification with 3–5 years of experience in retail, financial services, or branch operations, including supervisory or team leadership experience.

Strong knowledge of cash handling, stock control, and branch operational procedures.

Proven leadership, coaching, and people management skills.

Excellent communication skills in both Bahasa Malaysia and English.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities with good numerical skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and computer-based reporting systems.

High level of integrity, accountability, and attention to detail.

Able to work effectively under pressure while ensuring compliance, operational efficiency, and asset security.

Willing to work retail hours, including weekends and Public Holidays.
