Job summary

Guardian Taman Desa Cemerlang in Johor Bahru, Malaysia seeks a Store Supervisor to oversee daily store operations, cleanliness, merchandising, and smooth opening/closing routines.

You will manage a retail team, coordinate shift schedules, train staff, handle cashiering, stock counts, and drive customer service excellence to meet sales targets and KPI goals.

Qualifications

• Diploma or SPM qualification; experience preferred.
• Leadership and team management skills.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Ensure store cleanliness, organization, and visual merchandising standards.
• Handle opening and closing procedures.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment.
• Lead, guide, and motivate retail assistants.
• Assist in staff scheduling and shift planning.
• Train new employees on store procedures and product knowledge.
• Address staff performance and discipline issues.
• Deliver high-quality customer service and resolve customer complaints.
• Provide product recommendations and support sales targets.
• Track daily sales and KPIs; promote campaigns and promotions.
• Handle cashiering duties and ensure accurate cash handling.
• Perform stock counts and minimize shrinkage.
• Document inventory movements.
