Job summary

PERSOL Workforce Solutions Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a Design Engineer for Protection & Control in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. This is a 12-month renewable contract position, with travel to sites as needed and participation in commissioning activities.

Responsibilities include Substation control and protection design, and supporting site commissioning and project activities. A bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Automation/Control engineering plus 2+ years of relevant experience is required.

Qualifications

Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience in Protection & Control Engineering.
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical / Automation / Control Engineering or related field.
Hands-on experience in HV Protection & Control System Engineering.
Experience in Substation Control & Protection Design.
Experience with Protection Relay Configuration, Testing, Commissioning & Troubleshooting.
Experience in Control & Relay Panel Design.
Knowledge of Power Systems, Substations & MV/HV Switchgear.
Experience with AutoCAD, E3 or equivalent design tools.
Good spoken and written English is mandatory.
Willingness to travel and support site commissioning and project activities.
