Job summary
Jora Malaysia seeks a Design Engineer focused on Protection & Control to design substations, configure protection relays, and support on-site commissioning in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. This 12-month renewable contract requires hands-on HV protection experience and strong English communication.
Ideal candidates have a relevant engineering degree, 2+ years of experience, and familiarity with AutoCAD or E3. Willingness to travel and collaborate across project teams is essential.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical / Automation / Control Engineering or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in Protection & Control Engineering.
- Hands-on experience in HV Protection & Control System Engineering.
- Experience in Substation Control & Protection Design.
- Experience with Protection Relay Configuration, Testing, Commissioning & Troubleshooting.
- Experience in Control & Relay Panel Design.
- Knowledge of Power Systems, Substations & MV/HV Switchgear.
- Experience with AutoCAD, E3 or equivalent design tools.
- Good spoken and written English is mandatory.
- Willingness to travel and support site commissioning and project activities.
