Job summary

Hasilwan Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a Project Manager, Transmission & Distribution (Civil) to lead and manage substation projects up to 275kV, ensuring execution, timely delivery, and compliance with technical specs, grid standards, and contractual requirements.

You will oversee EPCC scope, coordinate HV equipment installation, supervise subcontractors, review engineering docs, and support procurement and finance aspects, contributing to the growth of Malaysia's energy infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering (Power/High Voltage).
• 5–7 years of experience in T&D substation projects up to 275kV.
• Strong knowledge of substation systems, transformers, GIS/AIS, and protection relays.
• Experience with HV testing and commissioning is an advantage.
• Familiar with utility standards, grid compliance, and HV safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead HV/MV/EHV substation projects up to 275kV assigned by management.
• Oversee EPCC scope for substations.
• Supervise installation and integration of 275kV/132kV/33kV systems.
• Coordinate procurement and delivery of high-voltage equipment.
• Monitor contractors for quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Support authority submissions and technical approvals.
• Review engineering documentation including SLDs, protection schemes, layouts, FAT/SAT.
• Support finance matters including progress claims and contract documentation.
