Job summary

ENGENIOUS SOLUTIONS SDN BHD is seeking a Project Engineer (Electrical) to coordinate and supervise 275kV/132kV HV works for data centre power infrastructure in Kuala Lumpur. Responsibilities include planning installations, reviewing technical docs, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires 5+ years in HV substations or power plants, hands-on GIS/transformer installation, and strong coordination with clients and vendors. AutoCAD and MS Office proficiency is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years in construction with HV substations (132kV/275kV) or power plants.
• Experience on HV substation/transmission projects.
• Knowledge of IEC/IEEE standards and Malaysian electrical regulations.
• Ability to interpret single-line diagrams and equipment layouts.

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise installation of 275kV/132kV GIS, busducts, transformers, cables and earthing.
• Review drawings, specs, method statements, and material submissions.
• Monitor site progress and ensure compliance with schedules.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to resolve issues.
• Support testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
• Prepare progress reports and technical documentation.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and regulations.
• Assist energisation planning and readiness reviews.
