Responsibilities include reviewing construction documentation, implementing quality management systems, monitoring installation quality, coordinating drawings with actual site conditions, overseeing the quality of structural steel welding, coating, and installation connections, ensuring the quality of interior finishing details, and maintaining complete documentation with traceable revisions and a well-established inspection and acceptance process.
- 1.Develop and implement QA plans, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), inspection checklists, and construction milestone inspection and acceptance procedures for interior finishing and structural steel works.
- 2.Review drawings, change instructions (RFI/VIR), and method statements for interior finishing and structural steel works, with particular attention to structural steel welding, bolted connections, coating, corrosion protection, non-destructive testing (NDT) of welds, and structural steel installation alignment, verticality, and levelness.
- 3.Monitor quality control throughout structural steel fabrication and installation on site, including welding process monitoring, coating thickness measurements, bolt pretension testing, dimensional verification, thermal compensation, embedded items, openings, MEP penetrations, and firestopping.
- 4.Conduct quality inspections, site walkthroughs, and follow-up on corrective actions for interior finishing works, including partitions, ceilings, flooring, decorative coatings, and equipment installation interfaces.
- 5.- Establish and maintain the document control system, managing all construction-stage submissions, drawing revisions, test reports, welding records, coating records, NDT records, inspection and acceptance reports, and as-built documentation for final handover and archiving.
- 6.Support project handover activities, including assisting with final inspections and acceptance, client-facing quality inspections, documentation submissions, preparation and archiving of PMC acceptance documents, operations and maintenance (O&M) training, consultant re-inspections, and defect rectification and closure.
