The role involves design and sizing of steel structural members, concrete design for structural elements, and preparation of structural calculations and technical reports.
Key responsibilities
Design and size steel structural members, including beams, columns, braces and other structural elements.
Perform concrete design for structural elements such as slabs and foundations.
Prepare structural calculations, design documentation and technical reports.
Develop and detail steel structures using Autodesk Advance Steel.
Design and check non-standard steel connections and provide appropriate engineering solutions.
Review structural drawings and ensure designs comply with relevant design standards and project requirements.
Coordinate with engineers, designers and other disciplines to ensure structural designs are practical and constructible.
Provide technical support during fabrication, construction and project execution where required.
About you
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
3–5 years or more of relevant structural engineering experience.
Strong experience in steel structure and concrete design.
Proficiency in Autodesk Advance Steel is highly preferred.
Experience in steel connection design and checking, particularly non-standard connections.
Good understanding of structural analysis, engineering calculations and relevant design standards.
Ability to read, interpret and produce structural drawings.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Good command of English, both written and spoken.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary engineering team.
