Job summary

Mila Asia Sdn Bhd is seeking a Structural Engineer to join our team in Malaysia. You will lead structural analysis and design for building and civil projects, contributing to digital engineering initiatives including BIM and AI-Digital Twin technologies.

We value hands-on problem-solving, strong technical ability, and leadership skills to collaborate with the technology team and deliver well-structured engineering solutions aligned with Malaysian codes and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant structural engineering experience.
• Strong expertise in structural analysis and design.
• Good knowledge of Malaysian codes and engineering standards.
• Proficiency in structural analysis and design software.
• Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Undertake structural analysis and design with the team.
• Review and verify structural calculations, drawings and technical reports.
• Develop practical, efficient and technically sound engineering solutions.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant Malaysian codes and engineering standards.
• Participate in structural engineering research, testing and technical development.
• Work closely with the technology team to translate engineering knowledge into digital engineering solutions.
• Learn and apply BIM workflows and digital engineering tools through structured on-the-job training.
• Contribute to the development of MiLA's future engineering, BIM and AI-Digital Twin technologies.

As a Structural Engineer, you will play a key role in strengthening MiLA's engineering capabilities while helping bridge the gap between traditional engineering and future digital technology. You will have an opportunity to lead structural analysis and design for building and civil engineering projects and contribute to engineering innovation, BIM, digital engineering and the development of future technologies such as AI-Digital Twin.
