Job summary

Wan Husin & Associates Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to lead design efforts on high-rise structures and to coordinate with Architects and M&E teams. You will perform analytical calculations, develop preliminary and detailed designs, and ensure drawings are well-coordinated across disciplines.

The role requires strong project leadership, problem-solving, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and registration with the Board of Engineers Malaysia.
5+ years of working experience in structural design for high-rise projects.
Proficiency in MS Office and structural design software: Staad Pro, ETABS, Orion, Prota, Tekla, Tedds.
Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English, both spoken and written.
Malaysian citizens only.

Responsibilities

Lead a structural design team with strong high-rise knowledge; provide design leadership.
Perform structural design analysis and calculations per codes and standards.
Provide preliminary and detailed structural design deliverables.
Prepare well-coordinated drawings with Architects and M&E trades.
Delegate and coordinate tasks to subordinates and monitor progress.
Attend project meetings and report progress to supervisor.
Contribute to project proposals and conceptual design.
Provide sketches and designs for Designers/Draughtpersons.
Manage projects in a fast-paced environment.
