Job summary

Ramboll Engineering (M) Sdn Bhd in Penang, Malaysia, seeks a Structural Engineer to lead the design of high-rise and complex buildings. You will produce calculations, drawings and reports, manage workload, and liaise with consultants across the project lifecycle.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years' experience in structural design, a Civil/Structural Engineering degree, and proficiency with ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE and Revit. Familiarity with GIS, Civil 3D and OpenRoads is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in structural design.
• Experience in a consultancy firm is preferred.
• Proficient in structural modelling software ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE and Revit.
• Knowledge of GIS, Civil 3D and OpenRoads is advantageous.
• Interest in parametric software such as Rhino/Grasshopper highly regarded.
• Strong attention to detail and professional ownership.

Responsibilities

• Produce structural engineering calculations, drawings, specifications and reports across high-rise and complex buildings.
• Lead design concepts through to detailed design with QA throughout.
• Manage workload, delegate to supporting staff, and liaise with project consultants.
