Job summary

Ramboll Buildings in Malaysia seeks a Structural Engineer to lead design and analysis for high-rise and complex buildings. You will produce calculations, drawings and reports, managing workload and coordinating with consultants to deliver buildable solutions from concept to construction.

The role requires 5+ years in structural design, consultancy experience, and strong proficiency in ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE and Revit.

Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in structural design.
Experience in a consultancy firm is preferred.
Knowledge of structural modelling software including ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE and Revit.
Familiarity with GIS software, Civil 3D and OpenRoads is advantageous.
Interest in parametric tools such as Rhino and Grasshopper is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

Produce structural engineering calculations, drawings, specifications and reports across high-rise and complex projects.
Manage workload, delegate tasks, and liaise with project consultants and external bodies.
Assist with authority submissions related to C&S and monitor project progression.
Ensure compliance with Ramboll’s IMS procedures and project standards.
