Job summary

Ramboll Malaysia is seeking a Structural Engineer with computational design skills to contribute to high-rise and complex building projects. You will create advanced 3D models in Rhino, employ Grasshopper for parametric workflows, and coordinate with international architects to deliver innovative design solutions.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Structural/Civil Engineering or Architecture and 0–2 years of design experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Structural, Civil Engineering or Architecture required.
0–2 years’ design experience preferred, consultancy experience a plus.
Knowledge or strong interest in parametric tools for structural optimisation (Rhino/Grasshopper).
Familiarity with coding languages such as Python and/or C# is a plus.
High attention to detail and precision in modelling and analyses.

Responsibilities

Developing advanced 3D models using Rhino.
Applying Grasshopper-based parametric design workflows.
Collaborating with international architects to deliver innovative design solutions.
Preparing finite element analysis models to support design development.
Carrying out optimisation studies across design challenges.
Producing technical reports and presentation materials.
Contributing to team capability development through learning and collaboration.
Supporting live project work and participating in project meetings.
Engaging in project-driven research and development activities.
Collaborating across Ramboll teams and departments.
