Job summary

TDACE Sdn. Bhd. in Malaysia seeks a civil drafting professional to coordinate data collection and integrate it into drawings, preparing civil designs and measurements.

The role requires at least a certificate or diploma in civil engineering, 2 years of civil/infrastructure drafting experience, and strong AutoCAD and BIM skills. You will work with engineers to create production drawings and deliver precise site and building plans.

Qualifications

• Certificate or Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of civil, infrastructure and structural drafting experience.
• Experience producing building plans and site plans is preferable.
• Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD and BIM.
• Ability to work independently with meticulous and analytical approach.

Job description

Coordinate the collection of data and incorporate this information into drawings.

Obtain and assemble data to complete civil designs and measurements as necessary.

Determine procedures and instructions to be followed, according to design specifications and quality of required materials.

Prepared coloured civil drawings for authority submission and presentation to Client.

Drafting designs using computer-aided design (CAD) software Sketch Up.

Consult or assist the Engineers to carry out all production drawings.

Handle all range of design detailing and drawings independently.

Prepare technical work drawings, tender, construction and detailed drawings respectively

Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least a Certificate, Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent.

At least 2 years of experience in Civil, Infrastructure and Structural drafting with the consultant engineering firm.

Knowledge and ability to produce building plan & site plan is preferable.

Excellent knowledge and skills in AutoCAD & BIM.

Able to work independently, be meticulous, analytical with excellent problem solving.

Able to undertake pressure and meet tight deadlines
