Job summary

Leighton Asia in Malaysia seeks a CAD Drafter to prepare structural drawings for steel and reinforced concrete projects. You will convert sketches and calculations into practical construction drawings, ensuring compliance with codes and safety standards.

Coordination with architecture and MEP teams is essential to deliver clash-free designs. You will need strong CAD skills (AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla), a diploma in drafting or civil engineering, and a keen eye for detail to identify errors and

Qualifications

• Diploma or relevant qualification in drafting, civil engineering, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency with CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit and Tekla.
• Solid understanding of construction methods, materials and structural engineering principles.
• Detail-oriented with ability to spot errors in drawings and calculations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare structural drawings including plans, sections and details for steel and reinforced concrete structures.
• Convert sketches, calculations and specs into practical construction drawings.
• Ensure drawings comply with industry standards, codes and safety requirements.

Job Duties
