Job summary

TrendMalayaa (SS Trend Trading) is seeking a General Manager – Business Operations & Strategy to lead and integrate company-wide functions across HQ and multiple branches. The role focuses on developing strategic plans, optimizing operations, and driving growth in a growing Malaysian retail business.

You will oversee Sales, Marketing, HR, Finance, Purchasing and Repair teams, ensuring SOPs are followed and data-driven decisions are made to improve profitability and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–6 years of senior management experience.
• Experience managing multi-branch retail operations.
• Strong understanding of P&L, budgeting and cost controls.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams.
• Excellent analytical and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute business strategies in collaboration with the MD.
• Oversee operations across HQ and branches to ensure efficiency.
• Monitor sales, profitability, and performance metrics.
• Plan branch expansion and feasibility studies.
• Strengthen SOPs, inventory control and internal controls.
• Lead Heads of Department and senior management meetings.
