Job summary

Jabil seeks a Workcell Planning Leader to manage the planning function for a designated workcell. You will oversee the Master Production Schedule, align with customer demand, and drive improvements in materials metrics to ensure on-time delivery.

You will coach planners, resolve material issues with buyers, and collaborate with site teams to optimize capacity and inventory while maintaining high standards of operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of related experience in electronics manufacturing.
• APICS certification or equivalent in materials management is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Materials Management or Business Administration or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and govern the Workcell Planning organization as delegate of the functional manager.
• Manage Master Production Schedule and ensure feasible operational plans.
• Coach and empower Workcell planners to own planning activities.
• Coordinate with buyers to prevent material shortages and optimize inventory.
• Drive continuous improvement in materials metrics and on-time delivery.
