Job summary

United Overseas Bank Limited (UOB) Malaysia is seeking a Relationship Manager to build and maintain a portfolio of high-net-worth and corporate clients, delivering tailored banking solutions.

You will cross-sell loans, deposits, investments, and treasury products, conduct financial analysis, assess credit risk, and ensure regulatory compliance while achieving sales targets. Collaborative with product, credit, and operations teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Banking, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in relationship management within banking or financial services.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building strong client relationships.
• Strong understanding of banking products, services, and financial markets.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to analyze financial data and assess credit risk effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Relevant professional certifications (e.g., FIMM, SC licenses) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a portfolio of high-net-worth individuals or corporate clients, fostering long-term relationships.
• Identify client financial needs and cross-sell loans, deposits, investments, and treasury solutions.
• Conduct financial analysis and risk assessments to provide appropriate financial advice.
• Achieve individual and team sales targets and business growth objectives.
• Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes.
• Prepare and present credit proposals, financial reports, and business plans to internal stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients and resolve inquiries efficiently.
• Collaborate with product, credit, and operations teams to deliver seamless client service.
