Job summary

United Overseas Bank (Malaysia) Bhd is seeking a Relationship Manager to build and maintain long-term relationships with a portfolio of HNW and corporate clients. You will assess financial needs and tailor banking solutions across deposits, investments, loans, and wealth management, while collaborating with product specialists to deliver integrated services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in relationship management within banking or financial services.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building strong client relationships.
• Strong understanding of banking products including investments, loans and wealth management.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Ability to analyze financial data, interpret market trends and provide sound advice.
• Self-motivated, results-oriented and able to work independently or in a team.
• Relevant professional certifications (e.g., FIMM, SC licenses) are an advantage.
• Proficiency in English, Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify, acquire, and onboard new HNW or corporate clients.
• Manage and grow an existing portfolio of HNW or corporate clients.
• Conduct financial needs analyses and provide tailored banking solutions across deposits, investments, loans, and wealth management.
• Collaborate with product specialists, credit analysts, and other stakeholders to deliver integrated solutions.
• Monitor market trends and regulatory changes to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
• Prepare and present financial proposals and conduct regular client reviews.
• Ensure full compliance with internal policies and banking regulations.
• Achieve individual and team sales targets and maintain client records in the bank’s systems.
