Job summary

UOB United Overseas Bank Limited (UOB) is seeking a Relationship Manager to manage and grow a portfolio of high-value clients, delivering tailored financial solutions and building strong, long-term relationships.

You will identify new business opportunities, provide expert financial advice, and coordinate with credit, product, and legal teams to ensure compliant, client-centric outcomes. This role requires robust banking knowledge and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in relationship management within banking or financial services, preferably with corporate or HNWI clients.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing client portfolios.
• Strong understanding of banking products, services, and financial markets.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing and prospective clients, understanding their financial goals and risk profiles.
• Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities, cross-selling and up-selling a range of banking products and services (e.g., loans, deposits, investments, wealth management).
• Conduct thorough financial needs analysis and provide expert advice on suitable financial solutions, ensuring alignment with client objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and present compelling proposals, structuring complex financial products and negotiating terms to secure new business.
• Monitor client portfolios, conduct regular reviews, and provide updates on market trends and product performance.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including product specialists, credit analysts, and legal teams, to deliver comprehensive client solutions.
• Ensure compliance with all internal policies, procedures, and relevant regulatory frameworks.
• Resolve client inquiries and issues promptly and efficiently, maintaining high levels of client satisfaction.
• Stay abreast of industry developments, competitor activities, and economic trends to identify potential impacts on clients and the business.
