Qualifications

• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in relationship management within banking or financial services.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing client portfolios.
• Strong understanding of banking products, investment vehicles, and wealth management.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to build rapport and trust with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Results-oriented with a strong drive to succeed.
• Sound knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in Malaysia.
• Relevant professional certifications (e.g., FIMM, PCE, CUTE) are advantageous.
• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin would be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with a portfolio of individual and corporate clients.
• Identify client needs and provide financial advice across banking products, investments, and wealth management.
• Proactively engage with clients to understand their financial goals and risk profiles, offering suitable UOB products and services.
• Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets for various banking products, including deposits, loans, investments, and insurance.
• Conduct regular reviews of client portfolios to ensure alignment with their financial objectives and market conditions.
• Prepare and present financial proposals and recommendations to clients.
• Collaborate with product specialists and other internal departments to deliver integrated solutions.
• Ensure compliance with all internal policies, procedures, and external regulatory requirements.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and sales activities in the CRM system.
