Job summary

Carlsberg Malaysia is seeking a strategic Manager, Supply Chain Controlling to lead Supply Chain Finance, partnering with Supply Chain leaders to drive financial performance, cost optimisation and operational excellence. You will oversee planning, budgeting, forecasting, standard costing, CAPEX and reporting, delivering actionable insights to support strategic decisions.

You will also lead governance, data quality and continuous improvement, aiming to enhance efficiency and cost competitiveness.

Qualifications

• Degree or professional qualification in Accounting or Finance with mandatory MIA membership.
• 6–8 years of experience in financial controlling, management accounting or FP&A.
• Strong grasp of budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and financial planning.
• Solid knowledge of COGS, logistics costs, CAPEX and inventory control.
• Advanced Excel skills and financial modelling experience.
• Experience with SAP and advanced data analysis tools; D365 is a plus.
• Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to influence stakeholders.
• Proactive, commercially minded with ability to drive cost optimisation and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Supply Chain Controlling team.
• Partner with Supply Chain leaders to provide strategic financial insights.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, management reporting and KPI dashboards.
• Lead standard costing, COGS forecasting and cost analysis across SC ops.
• Manage end-to-end CAPEX process including evaluations and post-investment reviews.
• Drive governance, data integrity and inventory control.
• Oversee month-end closing, reporting and audit activities.
• Drive finance transformation and process improvements via automation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to enhance cost competitiveness.
