Carlsberg Malaysia is seeking a strategic Manager, Supply Chain Controlling to lead Supply Chain Finance, partnering with Supply Chain leaders to drive financial performance, cost optimisation and operational excellence. You will oversee planning, budgeting, forecasting, standard costing, CAPEX and reporting, delivering actionable insights to support strategic decisions.

You will also lead governance, data quality and continuous improvement, aiming to enhance efficiency and cost competitiveness.

Qualifikationen

• Degree or professional qualification in Accounting or Finance with mandatory MIA membership.
• 6–8 years of experience in financial controlling, management accounting or FP&A.
• Strong grasp of budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and financial planning.
• Solid knowledge of COGS, logistics costs, CAPEX and inventory control.
• Advanced Excel skills and financial modelling experience.
• Experience with SAP and advanced data analysis tools; D365 is a plus.
• Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to influence stakeholders.
• Proactive, commercially minded with ability to drive cost optimisation and efficiency.

What you’ll be doing

• Lead and develop the Supply Chain Controlling team, fostering a high-performance culture focused on business impact and continuous improvement.
• Partner with Supply Chain leadersto provide strategic financial insights, identify risks and opportunities, and drive informed business decisions.
• Oversee financial planning and performance management, including budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, KPI dashboards and variance analysis.
• Lead standard costing, COGS forecasting and cost analysisacross manufacturing, logistics and other Supply Chain operations.
• Manage the end-to-end CAPEX process, including investment evaluations, financial justifications and post-investment reviews.
• Drive financial governance and data integrity, including master data accuracy, fixed asset management and inventory control.
• Oversee month-end closing, financial reporting and audit activities, ensuring compliance with internal controls and reporting requirements.
• Drive finance transformation and process improvements, including automation, data quality enhancement and smarter ways of working.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholdersto strengthen cost competitiveness, improve operational efficiency and deliver sustainable business performance.
• Provide technical expertise and support ad hoc financial analysis and projectsas required.

Requirements

• Degree or professional qualification in Accounting or Finance, with mandatory membership in the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA)or another recognized professional accounting body.
• Minimum 6–8 years of relevant experiencein financial controlling, management accounting or FP&A, preferably in a manufacturing or Supply Chain environment.
• Solid understanding offinancial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, cost controlling and standard costing.
• Good knowledge ofCOGS, logistics costs, CAPEX, inventory management and fixed asset control.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, spreadsheet design, financial modelling and data analysis.
• Experience with SAP and advanced data analysis tools.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) ERP is an added advantage.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information and insights clearly and concisely.
• Ability to lead projects and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teamsto drive business objectives and continuous improvement.
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build relationships and engage effectively with employees across all levels and departments.
