Job summary

Jabil in Malaysia seeks a Procurement/Materials Specialist to manage MRP and optimize material costs. You will develop supply strategies, collaborate with Purchasing and SCM, audit suppliers, and negotiate pricing to improve total cost of ownership.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develop supply base and supply chain strategies for customers or business units.
• Collaborate with Purchasing manager and SCM to meet customer needs.
• Conduct supplier audits, certifications, and performance reviews.
• Support and input to improve Jabil SCM initiatives.
• Quote new and existing materials and negotiate prices to reduce costs.
• Decide sourcing terms based on total cost and service.
• Ensure pricing and terms align with international agreements.
