Job summary

OCBC Group is seeking a procurement professional to develop and implement strategies that align with our risk framework and ESG commitments. The role emphasizes data analysis, supplier negotiations, and cross-team collaboration to optimize cost and value for the bank.

You will build strong relationships with stakeholders and suppliers, ensuring policies and procedures are followed while delivering continuous improvements in a regulated financial services environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in business, finance, or supply chain management.
• At least 3 years procurement experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies that meet the bank's objectives without compromising risk.
• Analyze data and market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
• Analyse problem statement and initiate new way of doing things.
• Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and suppliers.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers, collaborate with Legal Department.
• Implement procurement policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure that procurement activities are aligned with the bank's overall strategy inclusive of ESG.
