Job summary

OCBC, a leading regional bank, is seeking a Central Procurement - Sourcing Specialist in Kuala Lumpur. You will develop and implement procurement strategies, manage risk, and drive value with stakeholders and suppliers.

You will analyse market trends, negotiate contracts, and collaborate with Legal and ESG teams to ensure policy alignment and sustainable sourcing. The role demands strong analytics, communication, and integrity.

Qualifications

• Degree in business, finance or supply chain management.
• 8+ years of experience in sourcing or procurement.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and complex negotiation skills; data-driven decision making and cost optimization are essential.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• High integrity and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Central Procurement - Sourcing Specialist

• Driving Cross-border Collaboration with other teams to ensure that procurement activities are aligned with the bank’s overall strategy inclusive of ESG

Who you are

• A degree in a relevant field, such as business, finance or supply chain management


• At least 8 years of experience in a sourcing or procurement or a related field


• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills


• Excellent communication and strong skills in complex negotiations, data‑driven decision‑making and cost optimization are essential.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team


• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities


• Highly values integrity and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
