Job summary

Hartalega Holdings Berhad in Sepang, Malaysia, is seeking an Executive – Procurement (Sourcing Buyer) to execute sourcing initiatives and manage supplier engagements. The role supports contract negotiations and ensures alignment with business needs through the Strategic Sourcing Team.

You will work with internal stakeholders, perform market analysis and maintain records, contributing to cost savings and sustainable procurement practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in procurement, supply chain, business or related field.
• 2+ years procurement experience, with strategic sourcing exposure preferred.
• Skilled in market analysis, cost evaluation and supplier assessment.
• Proficient in ERP/P2P systems and MS Office (Excel/PowerPoint/Word).
• Strong critical thinking, proactive approach and decision-making ability.
• Understanding of ESG principles in procurement and sustainable sourcing.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute end-to-end RFQ/RFP activities aligned with company objectives.
• Conduct market research, supplier profiling, and spend analysis to identify savings.
• Monitor market trends, prices, risks, and provide summaries for decision-making.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align sourcing and procurement needs.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms and delivery; assist contract drafting/review.
• Maintain contract records, renewals, compliance, and escalation of supplier issues.
• Facilitate communication between stakeholders and suppliers for procurement operations.
• Track supplier performance using KPIs; support review meetings and action items.
• Maintain procurement records, prepare routine reports, and update SOPs.
• Ensure adherence to policies, regulations and support continuous improvement.
